Together for Preventing Violent Extremism and Radicalism

Through the activities held in the framework of the project it was aimed at presenting the best models of participation and cooperation in schools and communities and promoting tolerance and understanding as effective ways to prevent extremist and radical attitudes and behaviors.

Beneficiaries: Youth activists, women and men, religious leaders and activists, teachers and primary and/or high school students, local government, community at large.

The project objectives included increasing the capacities of youth and women, religion leaders and activists, local government representatives and teachers in the field of conflict resolution, peace, tolerance, as democratic values and effective ways against violent extremism through training workshops; Empowering active participation of the local community actors through forums and open debates for prevention of violent extremism and radicalism; Promoting information and share ideas, knowledge and good practices and experiences in prevention of violent extremism and radicalization through leaflets, roundtable.
