AFCR provides training in conflict management and transformation, mediation, reconciliation, and restorative justice. Numerous informative and awareness raising seminars and activities have been organized targeting judges, prosecutors, police officers, lawyers, mediators, teachers, local government specialist, students, etc. Media has also been used to promote the advantages of mediation.

Restorative justice, an alternative approach to the aftermath of criminal matters, and form of diversion from criminal proceedings is increasingly being promoted, developed and implemented worldwide. AFCR, in cooperation with state institutions, supported by donors, has largely contributed to development of RJ in Albania, particularly for juveniles.The main contribution was provision of RJ and mediation in the Code of Criminal Justice for Children.

Educating young generation with the culture of peace, tolerance, understanding and respect to diversity and mediation in conflict resolution has been one of the main components of AFCR since its establishments. Currently the program is being implemented in 19 primary and high schools in 9 districts, supported by Save the Children and SACP.

AFCR counts on a long list of studies and researches.
